CREDIT AWARD

APEL.C is designed for individuals who have gained substantial knowledge, skills, and competencies through work experience, training, or self-learning and wish to have them recognised as part of their academic studies.

It offers a flexible pathway to accelerate your studies by awarding academic credits for knowledge and skills you’ve already mastered. This means you can avoid repeating content you already know and focus on new areas of learning.

In UNIMAS, APEL.C is applicable to ALL programmes by coursework, and the maximum number of credits awarded is up to 60% of the total programme credits (Surat Makluman MQA Bil. 6 2025).
